Witches' Brew

A delicious little brew I like to make each year...

Witches' Brew

1 gallon apple cider (love)

1 orange (love)

1 apple (love)

3 cinnamon sticks (love & psychic powers)

1/8 teaspoon nutmeg (fidelity)

1 handful rose petals (love)

Pour apple cider into a large kettle. Peel orange and squeeze juice into cider, discard pulp. Tear the orange peel into 1-inch strips, and add to mixture. Core apple, cut into 1/4 inch slices. Add to mixture. Break cinnamon sticks in half. Add to mixture. Add nutmeg. Simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Do not boil. Sprinkle with rose petals and serve warm from a pumpkin punch bowl.

Bring Back The Freakies

One of my favorite childhood cereals - Freakies.  Okay....maybe it wasn't that great.  It was all about the toys inside (and I had them all)!
