Voltaire is a singer/songwriter whose music has its roots deeply embedded in European folk music. Voltaire's live shows, whether solo or with his skeletal orchestra, are highly theatrical - full of props and stories. kitsch, pinup art, and vintage men's magazines at an obsessive pace.
Eventually these things made their way into her artwork and she found

celebrate sexuality, femininity, and all that is cute. Her work has

Creepy was a horror comics magazine released in 1964 by Warren Publishing. It ran through 1983. Harris Publications purchased the rights and published a single issue in 1985. It looks like Dark Horse Comics along with New Comic Company LLC will be bringing Creepy back to life in 2009.

Halloween is quickly approaching and what a better way to celebrate than with the latest release of Living Dead Dolls.
Living Dead Dolls Series 16 features a
Halloween theme: Eleanor, Pumpkin, Mishka, Squeak and Isabel each wear
a creepy mask and come with a their own jack-o-lantern.
Eleanor is a sweet little ghost with her white sheet on but once removed she reveals her true intentions (ala japanese horror).
Isabel is dressed for a ball. What beautiful eyes she has....or had.
Mishka loves trick or treating under a full moon. Pull back her werewolf mask but her fangs and green complexion remain.
Pumpkin has a happy little jack-o-lantern mask on. Take it off and he's not so happy. The evil jack-o-lantern painted on his face makes you wonder if the blood on his outfit is real.
Squeak dons a sweet little pig mask...but Petunia she is not.
This is the first series in quite awhile that has excited me! I love the halloween theme. I love the characters that were chosen for this round. I love the little masks which are so reminiscent of the old plastic masks of yesteryear. The little pumpkin pails add the perfect touch to this spooky set. Anyone up for some trick or treating?

Two new SAW statues coming the 4th quarter of 2008 from Hollywood Collectibles Group.
The latest in the line of Xtreme Dform statues depicts Jigsaw wearing his famous “Pigmask” as seen in the very first SAW movie and Amanda wearing the iconic Reverse Bear Trap. Both stand 9" tall and are made from resin. Suggested Retail is $24.99 each.
The Cult Classics Hall of Fame continues with a new Captain Spaulding action figure. The good ol' Captain stands about 7" tall and comes with interchangeable hands, his itty bitty hat, and a backdrop from his "roadside attraction"!
Also recently released from the Cult Classics Series 7 is the Spider-Walk Regan action figure from The Exorcist. I think they did a great job capturing the scene when Regan is coming down the stairs all twisted and contorted.
My favorite of these new releases has to be the Michael Myers action figure. He is wearing a removeable sheet and Bob's glasses. Poor PJ Soles! Speaking of PJ ... and off topic again. If you have never seen "Rock N Roll High School". Do It NOW!

I went through a zombie phase in the early 90s and had to watch every zombie flick I could lay my hands on. I discovered there were a lot of zombie movies .... a lot of really bad zombie movies!
I remember seeing George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead
Bill Hinzman's portrayal of the zombie in the cemetery frightened the !%##!!% out of me. Now.... thanks to Amok Time I have my very own 12" Cemetery Zombie Action Figure! He comes with 4 different heads and 2 sets of hands (colorized and black & white). This is the first in this collection and I'm really looking forward to the rest.
Barbra and Ben are both due in November and Karen Cooper has a December release.
